Fashion Access Unveils Spring/Summer 2013 Collections

Fashion Access, one of the leading fashion fairs for footwear, accessories, jewels, bags,
lifestyle products, travel wear, and leather goods launches Summer-Spring Collections
2013. The fair is going to be held at Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre from
September 27 to 29. It will feature 363 exhibitors from 23 nations.
It is going to be conducted for the first time in Hong Kong, the King of Cashmere world;
the international trade fair features luxury cashmere brands and prominent cashmere
producers. Originally organized in Beijing, Cashmere world now co-occurred with
Fashion Access, arranging exhibition fair in HKCEC. The exhibition is predicted to draw
attentions, including that of China and International visitors through its many offerings
and exciting events.
Fashion Access’s project is the representation of trends in the next 2013 spring and
summer season; it will feature accessory trends for men and women, kids, and
youngsters from Paris, presented by Style Central’s Mary Yan Chan, who is a fashion
expert. Jayne Fashion Agency will also be presenting their seminar on the topic of
helping fashion shop employees to boost sales. The seminar will be conducted by
Jayne Esteve Cure, the agency’s fashion consultant. More seminars are on line,
including Stylesight, and Lafayette Group. Head accessories buyer of France’s
Lafayette agency, Sandrine Williamson will be training on purchasing accessories for
European market, while Greer Hughes from StyleSight will talk about design directions
for jewelry for this fall.
Apart from the training and seminar, there is also a charity fashion sale to be organized
alongside fashion with compassion on Sept 28 and 29 from 10 am to 7 pm. The charity
event will display vintage or pre-owned merchandise and past season items donated by
sponsors, including international and Hong Kong celebs. The amount is sponsored to
the non-profit charity organization of Hong Kong, Crossroads Foundation. The charity
sale will be open to the general public and visitors of Fashion Access fair.
The exhibition will feature Italian design, footwear brands, leather goods, such as ANCI
and AIMPES. It will exhibit Italian quality and creation, drawing a lot of interest from
visitors, especially the luxury and high-end buyers of boutiques and department stores
across China and other Asian countries.
South Korean companies have a strong allocation with 12 brands, providing shoes,
bags, and fabrics. These companies represent the spirit of Korean fashion that has
become very popular throughout Asia. Other countries to take part in the fair include
Taiwan, Indonesia, and Philippines where use of light and natural fabrics are notably
strong in emerging collections for the next season.
